DooM 4 coming up?

Yes, you heard me. DooM 4 is supposedly coming out this very year. (according to CD\) Now, Eraser, Sidekick, Storm and anyone else who wishes to try a totally different style of FPS than the Call of Duty serie... you guys better get with me and show everyone that LB is to be feared lol! I personally think the game will only be released in 10 but according to WoG, it's released this fall. I'll keep you guys updated on this but show me some support lol!

ya doom 3 is the game wee i met ya kin, brings back memories...

Now that I'm thinking about it, we could make a DooM4 squad, if anyone is willing to join me in this when the game goes out. I heard CD\\ is preparing a huge team for it, most likely eXg too considering these two are probably the most numerous and good players around there. Why not us, representing the fun part of the game, not only the competition lol! Win or lose... hehe...

id software isnt exactly known for releasing games very fast. I keep reading that it will be this fall or this winter. Im more inclined to believe its still TBA.

True, I got told that ZeniMax Media, who owns Bethesda Software, had bought iD... So now it's even more uncertain, they might start the game all over and make it go in another direction altogether. There is still hope though for a release in 2010!

Well its going to be interesting to see how this turns out. With the purchase of id software, more money will be available for their projects as well as marketing etc.. I hope the netcode gets more attention this round. Ive read that they have the intention of fixing that issue.
