Since the two biggest FPS franchises will go head to head later this year, and since the competition is already heating up with serious fighting words from both EA and Activision, we thought of something on the lighter side. A little swing, a little joke towards all the Call of Duty players and fanboys

Seriously - I cannot wait till this game comes out.

Looking at the trailers online - it looks a million times better than modern warfare - and much more team based - which we should get into more.

General news


•Team Deathmatch will support 24 players on all platforms.

•PC won’t have in-game server browser.

•…while consoles will.

•Co-op was shown, but there is no split-screen co-op.

•List of all the confirmed weapons.

•Conquest will come in two forms: Conquest and Conquest 64.

•The game will ship with 9 maps (excluding Back To Karkand DLC).

•PC version is designed for ALT-TAB between game and Battlelog. There is
no splash screen or loading menu or login page — it goes directly into the game.

•PC version will get “Ultra” quality setting

•Hardcore mode will return in Battlefield 3

Gameplay features

•Commo Rose has been confirmed. DICE is working on a console version of Commo Rose as well.

•3D spotting has been revised.

•Motion sensors are back, but cannot be thrown, and have to be deployed.

•The EOD bot can be used to arm MCOMs, repair vehicles and disarm mines.

•Players can spawn on any squad member now, but DICE is looking into it.

•Kill-cam is back.

•Jet max height is 1000m (same as BF2).

•Jets will be available on consoles as well.

•Bullets from different weapons have different velocity speeds, bullet drop is back as well.

•Weapons are faction specific, but you can unlock other faction’s weapons once your rank up high enough.

•Weapon silencers will be available on almost all weapons except shotguns.

•Assault rifles with long, high-zoom scopes will have “glint” as well.

•Claymores are back. You can crouch past them, but have to use explosives to blow up claymores and mines.

•Vehicles will have regenerative health until being disabled.

Beta starts 29 September - only goes for 10 days. No rank etc carry over when the game is released - however should give us a good look at it!

I have the same card Iron - worked fine un til I installed the Nvidia drives they have written for BF3 - now I cant even get into the game.

I tried the open beta on my ps3. its cool . good graphic and texture. sounds, gameplay/the way the character is moving looks realistic.

the game is very similar to bad compagny 2 .. same game type ( rush squad etc ).

and personaly I dont like much those game types. I more excited to the next cod. but If I get a new graphic card ill get this game for sure.

what about cod servers??? any news on them...and iron!! make peace whit youe wife and start gaming

Dedicated servers will be free to PC gamers and available at launch, and they won't be like those in Black Ops where they need to be rented from one specific company.

hmm I dont know what they mean about that.. free dedi server that you download from steam? I dont know much

thats nice but!!! bf3 servers are expensive....i need to know if we get one or not... we can have up to 64 players in there , but i was thinking more like 32 maybe , $4o a month u.s ...we have a a few bucks in the server fund .

I will get CoD day first for sure. my pc can run it ( same graphic system each years lol ) and ill get bf3 laters with a new card. dont have money for that right now
