No I never got banned, but unfortunately cod4 doesn't work on my computer any more. The good thing is WAW does work better. At least until the computer freezes.LOL.
Been smelling something burning when i play lol. its a matter of time now. My excuse fir getting another bigger, better. MORE POWERFUL new computer. LOL.

Just switching your post to a more fitting page papa.
Tell me what's wrong with it, do you get errors or something?

EDIT: Any other issues can be discussed, like for instance, I know a driver of mine keep crashing in mid-game and I have no idea how to fix it.

When i start up cod4 i get a black screen then error starting up cod4. it never makes it to the main menu. I did upgrade the drivers recently thats why i play waw more, because its working better now. I can keep up with the game. Before by the time i started to aim i would get shot. Now i aim fast, reload fast, run fast. It still lags a bit but waw is working good. Unfortunately since upgrading the driver, it messed up my cod4.

Question number one, do you use Windows Vista?
Question number two, did you at least try to reinstall CoD4?
Question number three, did you start shopping for a new computer yet? lol

OK well as far as I know, from experience, some drivers cannot be updated in Vista or they are very unstable on certain type of computers. For example, I have a Dell Vostro Notebook, the nvidia drivers refuse to be updated so they constantly crash, causing my game (CoD4, waw, burnout, whichever) to freeze for 10 seconds, then the screen goes black for 20 seconds while the speakers go fucking nuts and then it displays "Connection Interrupted", glitches for another 10-20 seconds. And that's once or twice EVERY game. SOOOO... Check that again, it might only be a little update error... Best and surest solution though, get a new computer with Windows XP, you'll never get ONE SINGLE ISSUE WITH IT. NEVER!

IF anyone is interested i figured out why my COD4 was not working. I went into start>control panel>sound>recording>right click on cd audio>enabled. And presto COD4 worked.YEAAAAA!
